     Mr. William T. “Bill” Coker, age 75, of Valley, Al., passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2015, at his residence.

     Mr. Coker is survived by his wife, Barbara Myhand Coker, three children, Charles L. (Tammy) Coker, Barbara Renona (Jeffery) Bowen, and William Timothy (Beckie) Coker; 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; five brothers, Tom Coker, Doyle (Peggy) Coker, Paul (Molly) Coker, Jerry (Sarah) Coker, and Cecil (Diann) Coker; two sisters, Pam (Walter) Daniel and Clara Radd.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilford “Billy” Coker and Maebell Monroe Coker; two brothers, Billy Joe Coker and Bennie Coker; a sister, Mary Helen Mezick; a grandson, Joseph Allen Coker.

     Mr. Coker was born on April 15, 1939 in Tallapoosa County, Al.  He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church.  He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, serving in the U.S. Army for 18 1/2 years.  He worked for West Point Pepperell for 16 years.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, welding, and all outdoor activities with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather.  He loved picking guitar and singing with his brothers and sisters.
