William Everett Moody (SPIKE) 70, of Cromwell, Connecticut, passed away on May 12, 2020 peacefully at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown. He was born to the late Virginia Randolph Rougeau, of Columbia, South Carolina, and the late James Edward Moody II of Richmond Virginia.
William was a lifelong resident of Middletown. Attended Woodrow Wilson High School in 1967 then entered the job corp. William was an avid musician, and lover of music. Mastering the piano at an early age, he was an outstanding organist as well. He played in many bands in the 60’s and 70’s. Stevie Wonder was his Idol. He loved jazz, family, friends, and laughter!!! His love for people was unconditional.
William was predeceased by 1 sister Debra Moody Lord, 3 Brothers Christopher E. Moody, James E. Moody III, and Ransom L. Moody.
William is survived by 3 daughters, Camille Moody of Middletown CT, Paula Moody of Georgia, Carla Moody of Middletown CT; 2 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild, 3 sisters, Lorraine E. Moody of Middletown CT, Veronica Davis of Middletown CT, and Wanda T. Garvin Of Bronx, New York; a special Aunt Mary Willoughby, of Middletown CT; a special Uncle William Randolph of Bloomfield CT; special Niece, Lisa Moody Hart of Middletown CT and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
