Wardle, William Scott:
Scott Wardle, my precious son, died October 2nd, 2018 at his home in Meridian, Idaho as the early morning sunshine danced across his face. I am sure my Heavenly Father whispered “My son, we are going home now. All those tears and terrible pain have gone away.”
Scott was born in Boise, Idaho August 8th, 1956 to Lyle and Barbara Wardle. He married Billie Stine May 24th, 1980 and they celebrated 38 years together, having three beautiful daughters along the way: Nicole Fish (Brad Fish), Cassie Somerville (Jimmy Somerville) and Megan Wardle.
Scott is also survived by his mother Barbara Wardle, two sisters, Lena Herrick and Lori Evans, his brother, John Wardle, and his uncle, Jack Bradley, members of the Burlingame family and numerous cousins and many friends. Scott also has five beautiful grandchildren: Ryan, Kaylee, Aubrie, Hayden and Westen, who were his greatest treasures.
Scott is preceded in death by his father, Lyle, who passed away several years ago.
Scott loved animals. Dogs were his first choice. He leaves behind his Labradoodle Saydee and Boomer, his Chocolate Labrador.
Scott went to Meridian High School but he decided to quit school and find a job. He had heard about a building company named “Petra”, one of Boise’s Best Builders. Scott applied for the job and was hired immediately. Within a year, Scott was promoted to Foreman. Some of the stores that he helped build were The Home Depot in Meridian, The WalMart Stores, The Black Eagle Complex, and many more. When the freeway connector came to Boise, Scott again was foreman for that job.
When his health was failing due to cement poisoning, Scott knew he still needed to work.
On October 2nd, 2018, at his home in Meridian, God said “Scott, it is time to rest. Come with me. There will be no more pain, no more tears, and I will watch over your children and grandchildren.” With little hesitation, Scott said “Thank you, Lord. I’m ready now and I accept your offer.”
