William Salvatore Clutter, lovingly known as “Sammy”, 82, of Masontown, formerly of Clarksburg, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2016 at Preston Memorial Hospital in Kingwood. Sammy was born on April 30, 1934, in Norwood. He was the eldest son of the late Roy Lambert Clutter and Constance “Cora” (Oliverio) Clutter.
Sammy was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Stonewood and an honorary member of the Stonewood Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed visiting with his friends at the Masontown Senior Citizen Center, parties and gardening.
He is survived by his only brother, John Clutter & wife Barbara, of Stonewood, his uncle Freeland Oliverio; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins; his best friend, Louie Leroy, of Stonewood; Sammy is also survived by his extended family, Kathy Heller & husband Rick, Denise Braham, David Kerns, Sherry Copelen, Jennifer Skyles & Mary Curry and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Sammy was preceded in death by two brothers: Don and Anthony Clutter.
