You don’t have a soul. You are a soul, you have a body. The glory of life surmounts the fear of death and William S. Villari, Sr. lived life as a bull with the strength of a 1000 men. He was a man of God who held his faith dear. Bill was a hardworking patriarch for whom the angels have waited, for so long. After 79 years, during the early evening of Monday February 20th, the angels had their way and Bill’s unburdened soul rose like incense from Samaritan Inpatient Hospice in Mt. Holly.

Mr. Villari was born in Riverside and spent his early years there. He graduated from Riverside High School where he was a standout as the class clown, best looking and best artist. His home had contributed to the manpower of our great nation, upholding the ideals of our American freedoms in the United States Air Force. He worked as a machinist for PSE&G in Burlington for 30 years and had been an active parishioner of St. Katharine Drexel Parish, St. Paul’s Church in Burlington and Resurrection Parish, Church Of The Holy Name in Delran. Mr. Villari volunteered his time as the Sexton at St. Paul’s Church in Burlington and had taught C.C.D. at both St. Paul’s Church and Church of The Holy Name.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Burlington Council 589 and the John Tatham Assembly 648 Fourth Degree of the Knights of Columbus. Mr. Villari was the life of the party and the comedian of the family. He was a talented musician and avid deer hunter. He enjoyed the outdoor wilderness and had been a member and Past President of the Lone Oak Gun Club in Tabernacle.

Music is just like family. Some high notes, some low notes but always a good song. Mr. Villari was predeceased by his late 1st wife Ingibjorg and is survived by his wife Liberta “Libby” Villari. Bill is the father of Eleanor & her husband Charles Keith, Sigurjon “Sig” & his wife Karen Villari, Annmarie Moffit and the late William S. Villari, Jr. Mr. Villari is the proud “Pop Pop” of Chas and Shawn Keith, Jaclyn Olah, Justin Villari, Stephanie Villari, the late Danielle Villari, Nicole, Kyle and Kristin Pallett, Deanna, Joshua and Elizabeth Moffit as well as 9 great grandchildren.

He is also survived and will be sadly missed by his siblings Samuel Villari, Raymond Villari and Mary Freund.
