William S. Narczewski 91, of Peru, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2011 at IVCH in Peru.
Mr. Narczewski was born November 11, 1920 in Peru to Stanley and Anastasia (Japczynski) Narczewski. He married Elsie Krysiak on December 15, 1945 at St. Valentine’s Rectory in Peru. She passed away October 26, 2011. He worked at Union Carbide in Ottawa, American Hoechst, Westclox and the Foundry in Peru. He was a member of St. Valentine’s Church, Peru and coached and managed championship little league baseball teams in Peru for 14 years, 6 of the those years he managed the Mueller Funeral Home team and was also was the All Star Team Manager.
He was a diehard Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears fan. He is survived by his children, Ronald G. (Dawn) Narczewski of Montogomery and Janis (Arnold) Watkins of Oglesby; four grandchildren, Nickolas Narczewski, Kelly Narczewski, Jesse Watkins and Andrew Watkins; two great-grandchildren, Natalie Narczewski and Rosalie Watkins. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Elsie and 3 brothers and 5 sisters.
