William Robert Armstrong, 74, Greensburg, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2009 at the Morning Breeze in Greensburg.
Born, October 20, 1934 in Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of Howard M. and Hilda (Ohman) Armstrong.
William graduated with a Bachelors Degree from Michigan State University in 1957. He was a sales representative for Hess & Clark / Con Agra for 36 years.
He was a member of the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Greensburg where he had served as an Elder and in other leadership roles.
He was married to Shirley Mae Ivio on August 27, 1955 she survives.
He is also survived by one son, Robert William (Debbie) Armstrong, Shelbyville, Ky.; two daughters, Debra (Russell Kowal) Arsmtrong, Goshen, NY, Cheryl Armstrong, Little Rock, Ar.; one sister, Doris Radgowski, Livonia, Mi.; three grandchildren, Noah Berger, Adria Armstong, Leanna Armstrong; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Carl Armstrong.
