William C. Boswell (Pete), 93 of Indian Head, MD died Friday, December 18, 2015 at the University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center, LaPlata, MD.
He was born in Indian Head, MD on July 12, 1922. His parents were Bessie Lee and Joseph Henry Boswell.
Pete is preceded in death by his wife Mary Genevieve Dougherty, they were married on June 18, 1949, and his siblings Eva Badalamenti, Joseph Boswell, Bessie Welch, Dolly Martin, Mary Welch, Lilly Robinson and Beatrice VanBoven.
Pete is survived by his sons Sam (Jenny) and Earle (Wilma) Boswell, Grandchildren Laura (Danny), Amanda (Aaron), Melissa, Jason (Kristin), Christopher, Rhonda (Tommy), Renee (Steve) and Megan (Ryan), Great Grandchildren Noah, Madison, Austin, Jacob, Kyle, Zac, Olivia, Skyla, Elaina, Jacob, Aubrey, Brayden, and Daphne.
Pete was a Lackey High School Graduate. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was employed at the Indian Head Naval Base.
