Obituary of William P. Demo
DEMO, William “Bill” P. of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 02, 2017 at Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center, surrounded by his family. He was 88 years old.
William Paul Demo was born on January 21, 1929 in Saginaw to the late Clifford and Margaret (Kretz) Demo. He married Lois Lorain McNeely on November 17, 1951; she survives him.
Bill graduated from Cass City High School. After graduation, he served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Upon his honorable discharge, he returned to Saginaw and began his career as a Millwright. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, biking, woodworking, making wine, and tinkering. Bill truly enjoyed helping others; just last year, he was in the Saginaw News for participating with community cleanup.
Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Lois; six children: Daniel (Bridget), Diane (Thom) Kuzilla, Patrick (Brenda), Teresa (Patrick) Rapp, Jennifer (Bob) Demo-Corne, and Jonathan (Jana); 15 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; four sisters: Shirley, Dorothy and twins Jean & Joan; brother-in-law, Larry (Jan) Malace; and life-long friend: Moke Lovay.
