William O. Millner, 74, of Fishers, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at his home. He was born on November 11, 1942 to Charles and Henrietta (Haite) Millner in Huntington, Indiana.

Bill was a 1960 graduate of Huntington Catholic High School, and proudly served his country in the United States Army. He graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, and St. Francis University with a Master’s Degree of Science in Business. For over 39 years, Bill worked as an Industrial Engineer, 30 years with Fort Wayne Wire Die where he retired in 2009. He was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, and Phi Kappa Tau fraternity at Purdue. Bill enjoyed golf, but especially loved cheering on his grandchildren’s volleyball, baseball, and soccer games.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra (Dwornicki) Millner, who he married on January 29, 1966; daughters, Courtney Howie (husband Doug) and Shelbey Klenck; four grandchildren, Mitchell & Rachel Howie and Edie & Louis Klenck; sister, Jean Sutton (husband Stan); brother, Michael Millner.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his sister, Charlotte Millner.
