He is survived by his wife, Linda Vercher of Tunnel Hill; sons and daughters in law, Jeff and Melissa Dotson of North Carolina, John and Carrie Dotson of Tunnel Hill, Jack and Carla Dotson of Trenton; daughter and son in law, Lisa and Alex Gowin of Tunnel Hill; brother and sister in law, Roy and Pat Vercher of Young Harris; his twin sister, Pearl Sims of Louisiana; sister in law, Janie Vercher of Texas; grandchildren, Chuck and Kim Dotson, Lexie Gowin, Zane Gowin, Katy Davis, Brandi Guli, Keri Bayley, Amanda Bently, JJ Dotson; great grandchildren, Isaac Dotson, and Kristina Dotson; nephew, Randall Vercher; and niece, Debi Johnson.
