William M. “Bill” Wilson, 77 of Parma, died February 17, 2011 at home of natural causes.
Bill was born September 20, 1933 at Denver, Colorado the son of George and Myrna Keirns Wilson. He attended school in Adrian and graduated from high school there. He joined the U.S. Navy and served for four years. After his discharge he married JoAnn Wood and to their marriage three children were born, Donald, Bruce and Kristy. Bill and JoAnn were later divorced.
Bill farmed in the Parma area retiring in 2006.
Surviving are his children, Donald Wilson, Bruce Wilson and Kristi Wilson; three sisters, Shannon Jones, Lana Lay and Jackie Boothman; a brother, Gary Wilson; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
In his teenage years, Bill lived with Harley and Betty Wilson who became a second set of parents and he is survived by Betty and her children, Lila Wilson, Kenny Wilson, Melvin Wilson and Darrell Wilson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Myrna and Harley Wilson and a sister, Leatha Wilson.
