Mr. William (Bill) Ross Marshall, age 79, a resident of Clarksburg, WV, formerly of Elkins and Valley Head, passed away Wednesday, January 2010. He was born December 3, 1930 in Weston, a son of the late Forrest and Marie Marshall. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Faye (Crose) Marshall, of Clarksburg, WV. In addition, he is survived by two daughters, Beverly A. Childers of Roanoke, AL and Terri L. Swecker of Clarksburg, WV, 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; two sisters, Glenna Ulseth of Akron, OH and Gatha Williams of Braham, MN. He is preceded in death by two brothers: Joseph R. Marshall and Richard Griffith. Mr. Marshall was a veteran of WWII, having served in Germany. Mr. and Mrs. Marshall owned and operated F&M Grocery and Hardware Store in Valley Head for 20 years. He was an electrician by trade, a member of DAV and attended Calvary Assembly of God Church in Valley Head.
