Mr. William Marin Folmar, age 90 of McKenzie passed away Saturday, Jan. 21, 2017 in a Pensacola hospice home.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, William O. (Lavon T.) Folmar of Red Level; brothers, Melvin (Sue) Folmar of Georgiana; Maynard Folmar of Luverne; sisters, Oleta Smith of Georgiana; Jean Thompson of Pensacola; Grandchildren, William Garrett (Miranda) Folmar of Henderson, Al; LaTasha Lynn Folmar of Red Level; great grandchildren, Boone Folmar; Sadie Folmar; several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Folmar was preceded in death by his wife, Opal Presley Folmar in 2015. He was an Army veteran, enjoyed cattle farming and worked as a heavy equipment mechanic most of his life. He served as a Deacon of New Home Baptist Church for 50 years.
