William M. Haas, 81, of Anderson, passed away on March 18, 2016 at the Bethany Pointe Health Campus. He was born on September 13, 1934 in Alexandria, and resided most of his life in Anderson. He served his country in the United States Army from 1957-1959. Bill was an engineer for both General Motors and RCA in Indianapolis. He was a member of ASQ in Muncie and Indianapolis.
He enjoyed building and working on computers, caring for his Dog, Daisy, and especially loved supporting his grandchildren with all their activities.
Bill is survived by his loving children, Misty (Anthony) Johnson of Anderson, and Robert W. (Karen) Haas of Ann Arbor, MI; and grandchildren, Steven, Ian, Sydney, Kyle, and Keagan. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends, Don and Sandy Volk. He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Marilyn Haas; and parents, Madelyn and Guy “Casper” Haas.
