May 27, 1941 – May 15, 2017

Cutler, William M. Bay City, MichiganFormerly from Fairgrove, Michigan

Our loving uncle passed away in the early hours of the morning on Monday, May 15, 2017 at the Bay Shores Nursing Care Center in Bay City, Michigan. Age 75 years. The son of the late Frederick W. Sr. and Flora (Montney) Cutler was born in Fairgrove, Michigan on May 27, 1941. Mr. Cutler was a member of the United Methodist Church of Fairgrove from baptism until death. He served his country for a short amount of time in the United States Army. One of William’s biggest passions was watching ships travel through the Saginaw River. He adored spending time learning the history of each unique vessel that passed by. After observing and studying the ships he would create handmade models of them. To this day many of the models he created shed life to many others sharing his passion. Over the years he has donated many of his models to museums in the Bay City area. William was also a member of the Amvets Post 22 in Bay City, Michigan.

Mr. Cutler is survived by one sister-in-law, Lois Cutler of Fairgrove, MI; one niece, Beverly (Earl) Voss; one great niece and two great nephews, Cindy (Greg Healy) Voss of Fairgrove, Brian (Cheryl) Voss of Caro, and Daniel (Chris) Voss of Fairgrove; and several other great-great nieces and nephews; and cousins. In addition to his parents Mr. Cutler was preceded in death by one sister, Glendadeen Cutler; one brother, Frederick W. Cutler Jr; and many aunts and uncles.

At the request of Mr.

William M.
