William Lyman Tuttle, 87, of Middletown passed away on Friday, March 20, 2015 at Middlesex Health Care Center. Born in Middletown, he was the son of the late Willis and Eunice (Atwell) Tuttle. “Bill” is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary Anne (Bacon) Tuttle; son, Stephen Bacon Tuttle and daughter-in-law Peggy Tuttle of Missoula, MT; daughter, Susan Tuttle Hingley and son-in-law Daniel Hingley of West Chester, PA; daughter, Nancy Atwell Tuttle of McMinnville, OR; his brother, Frederick A. Tuttle; ten grandchildren (Ryan, Max, Stephen, Alison, Kathryn, Rebecca, Kinton, Kelsey, Kaylin, and Koby); five great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Bill lived in Middletown all of his life and was employed by Bacon Brothers for forty-eight years. He was a past member of the Kiwanis Club and active in Cub Scouts. He enjoyed following his favorite athletic teams, the stock market and current events.
