William Edwin “Bill” Lindroth, 91, of Sawyer, Michigan passed into eternal life on August 2, 2010.Bill was born on April 23, 1919 in Danville, Illinois to Oscar and Minnie (Pry) Lindroth. He married Jean Waddell on December 23, 1945 in Danville. Bill was employed as a machinist for the Chicago & Eastern Illinois Railroad for 38 years at the Yard Center in Dalton, Illinois.
He was a man of many interests; an avid bowler, he enjoyed watching the birds in his yard; he was a professional tinkerer; Cubs fan, an amateur astronomer, and he was a member of the Harbert Community Church.Survivors include his wife, Jean, sons William (Marna) Lindroth and Steven Lindroth; granddaughter, Erica (Justin Payne) Lindroth and grandson, Ed Lindroth. He was preceded in death by his brother Dale and sisters, Josephine, Delpha, and Ethel.
