William L. (Bill) Langdon passed away peacefully August 9, 2015, at Mountain View Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces.

He was born in Omaha, Nebraska to Leroy and Jean Langdon on November 25, 1946. Bill graduated from Papillion High School in Papillion, Nebraska in 1965 where he excelled in baseball, football and basketball. In recent years, Bill was a private investigator. He began his professional career in retail store management, including store manager for San Antonio-based Gulf Mart and Farmers Market in Deming, New Mexico. Bill and his wife owned Cash Mart Pharmacy in Hobbs and Cardinal Drug in Eunice, New Mexico. Later he owned Cash Mart Foods in Las Cruces. Taking a break from the retail industry, Bill started a trucking business and was an over-the-road truck driver. Bill enjoyed traveling, watching the Chicago Cubs play baseball and reading.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dennis and sisters, Nancy and Betty. Bill is survived by his wife, Patricia (Tris) McSherry, along with many nieces, nephews, family and good friends.
