William (Bill) L. Schibi, 74, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2021 at RegalCare at Torrington. Bill was born in Connecticut on September 4, 1947 to William F. Schibi and Julia H. Consolini. He worked as an arborist, enjoyed fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. Bill is survived by his son, Kevin M. Schibi and spouse Joann Ellis; daughter, Brenda L. Crispin (Schibi) and spouse Karl Kozlak; five grandchildren, Brittany L. Schibi, Paul J. Margraf, Elizabeth A. Schibi, William E. Crispin, and Kailyn M. Schibi; and great-granddaughter, Luna M. Schibi. He is also survived by his siblings, Frank and Gail Schibi, Jim and Jean Schibi, Judy Schibi, Donna Surdam and Walt Agar, Timmy Schibi and Kat Madore, and Kenny Schibi; and his fourteen nieces and nephews. Bill is preceded in death by his companion, Cheryl LaFountain; parents William and Julia; and brother, Donald Schibi.
