William “Bill” L Sanders, 67, of Anderson, passed away on November 22, 2013 at his residence after an extended illness. He was born on September 21, 1946 in Indianapolis, and resided most of his life in Anderson.
He retired with the City of Anderson in 2008 after 18 years of service. Prior to that, he worked at Container Corporation for 18 years. Bill enjoyed his yearly family trips to Florida, baseball and NASCAR.
William is survived by his loving spouse whom he married January 7, 1966, Drenda Truesdel Sanders, of Anderson, son, Adam Lisa Sanders of Boggstown, IN, daughter, Holly A. Sanders of Anderson, Sister, Joey Hensley of Daleville, brother, Robert Jean Sanders of FL, brother, Mike Judy Richardson of Anderson, brother, Mark Kara Richardson of OK, brother, Russ Alice Sanders of CO, grandchild, Branton Sanders of Boggstown, grandchild, Chloe Sanders of Boggstown, several nieces and nephews, special friend, Randy Rowe, Dog, Sophie Sanders, Dog, Duke Sanders, Cat, Pepper Sanders.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harley Sanders and Susan Madeline “Madge” Sanders.
