Preston-William L. Conrad, 87. Passed away Friday afternoon January 19,2018 at the W.W. Backus Hospital.
He was born December 26, 1930 in Norwich, CT . The son of Otis and Marjorie (House) Conrad.
William worked as a labor foreman for W.J. Barney Construction until his retirement.
William is survived by his wife of 67 years, Elizabeth Rose (Andrews) Conrad. He also has three daughters, Linda Ryan and husband Edward, Cheryl Hanks and husband Donald, Alyson Magowan and husband George and a son William L. Conrad Jr and wife Sheri. A sister Jeanine Greiner and a brother Richard Conrad. He was predeceased by his parents and his baby brother Walter. He will be fondly remembered by his 8 grandchildren and his 9 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
