William L. Brune William L. Brune, 86, formerly of Lower Nazareth Township, passed away peacefully at Kirkland Village, Bethlehem, on Thursday, June 30, 2011. He was the husband of the late Mary (Crum) Brune, who died in 1997. He was also married to Lynette Pepper, who died in 2003, and Julia Miller, who died in 2009. Born in Cincinnati, OH, he was the son of the late William and Jennie May (Ledwith) Brune. After serving in the US Army during WWII, he graduated from Lehigh University in 1946 with a BS in Engineering Physics, and worked for Bell Labs in Holmdel, NJ until his retirement in 1981. He was an avid golfer and bridge player, and enjoyed travelling and took many cruises in his retirement. Survivors: daughter Geraldine B. Page and her husband Phillip of Greensboro, NC; stepchildren Richard Pepper of Bethlehem, Donald Pepper of Salisbury, George Pepper of Bethlehem, Caroline DiGiacomo of Allentown, Diana Steele of Houston, TX, Eva Bishop of Bath; 8 step-grandchildren.
