William (Bill) Kindt Soldan of Colorado passed away on August 8th surrounded by his family.

He was born to Mae and Kindt Soldan on December 26, 1938 in Pueblo Colorado. After graduating from Centennial High School in Pueblo and attending Pueblo Junior College and the University of Arizona, Bill moved to Denver in 1959. He then began what became a long and successful career in banking. Eventually earning a master’s degree from Stanford University, he went on to become President of United Bank of Arapahoe. Bill was an enthusiastic supporter of the South Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce, ultimately serving as their Chairman. New opportunities took the family back to Pueblo from 1994 – 2005, at which time they returned to Denver where Bill retired in 2006.

Bill was a devoted member of many social and charitable associations including Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity, the Shriners of Colorado and the Rocky Mountain Adoption Exchange.

The family wishes to thank Marjy Well and Afi Attiogbey for their thoughtful and loving care of Bill over the last several years.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents Mae and Kindt Soldan, and former spouses Pearl Berckefeldt and Janis Soldan.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Marjorie Brown Soldan and six children; James (Christie) Nasi, Darcie (Charles) McKenna, Steven Nasi, Kara (Morey) Perlmutter, Kristina (Richard Reisman) Nasi and Matthew (Julie Campilio) Nasi.

He was also the proudest “Bubba” to ten grandchildren; Parker, Addie, Owen, Jack, Raleigh, Sailor, Will, Milo, Thea and Fin.
