William Joseph “Joe” Helton, 41, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, went to be with his LORD on Wednesday, January 7, 2022. He was the son of Ronald Eugene Helton, Sr. and the late Peggy Ann Morris Ivey. He was born January 11, 1980, in Pine Bluff. A lifetime resident of Arkansas, Joe was Pentecostal.
Joe was a welder working for Helton Welding. He enjoyed working puzzles and scraping and burning copper. Joe loved spending time with family and friends and, especially, enjoyed playing with his nieces and nephews.
Joe was preceded in death by his mother; his grandparents, Eugene and Wilma Morris, William Joseph Helton and Ola Mae Tackett; and his nephew, Gunner Thompson. He is survived by his father; his brother, Ronald (Jay) Hudson; of Pensacola, Florida; his sister, Linda (Bobby) Cooper of White Hall; nieces, Codie (Cory) Thompson, Miranda (Dylan) Glover, and Cheyanne (Zach) Gifford; great nieces and nephews, Bentley Thompson, Kelsea Thompson, Wyatt Glover, Conner Gifford and soon-to-be-born Haylee Thompson; a “Bonus Mom,” Connie Hackworth; and a host of family and friends.
