Obituary of William John Riefe
RIEFE, William “Bill” John of Saginaw, Michigan passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 24, 2012 surrounded by his family at the Cartwright Hospice Residence. Age 67 years. Bill was born on April 24, 1944, in Saginaw to the late Reinhold and Mary Eileen (Lynch) Riefe. He was married to Mary Frances Redmond. She predeceased him on April 12, 1995. Bill was a graduate of St. Andrew High School. He had been employed by Pat Curtis Chevrolet Cadillac in Caro for over 30 years.
Surviving are three daughters and a son; Lisa (Paul) Flessner of Jenison, MI, Kristen (Dan) Yockey of Saginaw, MI, Amy (Dave) Riffel of Oscoda, MI, James (fiancée Holly Davis) Riefe of Albuquerque, New Mexico; five grandchildren; David and Katherine Flessner, Mary Frances and Danny Yockey and Hannah Riffel. Bill is also survived by a sister, Carolyn Roeser of Grand Blanc, and several nieces and nephews.
Bill was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Carl Roeser.
