Beacon Falls – Mr. William John Gudzinskas, Jr. age 65 of Beacon Falls, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2015 in the VITAS Unit at St. Mary’s Hospital after a long battle with Multiple Sclerosis. He was the husband of Karen (Levegnale) Gudzinskas. Mr. Gudzinskas was born and raised in New Britain on February 9, 1949, son of the late William John Gudzinskas, Sr. and the late Sophie (Kristopik) Gudzinskas. He was a 1968 graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School and worked at Shop Rite Supermarkets until the onset of his illness.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Gudzinskas is survived by a daughter: Stefanie Harbour of Tennessee, a son Vincent Gudzinskas of California, a sister Ellen Zemetis and husband Joseph of Meriden, five grandchildren, one niece and three nephews.
