William Jennings Garner

William J. “Dub” Garner, Jr., of Pine Bluff, Arkansas was born at Grapevine, Arkansas on November 12, 1924, the son of the late William Jennings Bryan Garner, Sr., and Jennie Haynie Garner. He died at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff on Friday, February 4, 2005 at the age of 80 years.
He attended First Baptist Church of Pine Bluff and was retired from the Cotton Belt Railroad in Pine Bluff where he had worked as a blacksmith. He was a member of AFL-CIO Union and the Kissie Creek Deer Club.
Survivors are his wife, Gladys Faye Brewer Garner of the home,Son: James J. Merritt, Jr.
