William J. “Billy” Ward, Jr., 57, passed away Thursday, August 30, 2012 at his home in Franklin surrounded by his family. He was born August 30, 1955 in East Hampton, MA to the late William J. Ward & Jeanne Plantier Ward. He was a Fire Fighter with the Coweta County Fire Department for the last 22 years. His fellow fire fighters affectionately referred to him as Paw Paw. Survivors include wife, Teresa Akers Ward; children, Mark Ward & wife Michelle, Tonya McDonald & husband Ricky, Josh Ward; grandchildren, Ashleigh Ward, Logan Ward, Hannah McDonald, Alexis McDonald; brother, Scott Ward & wife Monica; brother-in-law, Terry Akers & wife Kathy; and nephews, Kyle Ward, Robert Reagan, Sidney Ward.
