William James Bundy, 67, a resident of Crownsville for 39 years, passed away on March 26, 2014. He was born in Erie, PA on July 13, 1946 to the late Donald R. and Ester A Bundy. He graduated from McDowell High School in 1964 and Penn State Behrend University in 1966. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and was stationed in Gitmo, Cuba. After being discharged from the military, he went on to attend Northern Virginia Community College and graduated in 1971 with a degree of Business Administration. He was a member of MENSA for 30 years. Bill started his own business, Bundy Built Homes, and designed and built custom homes for 30 years. He achieved a lifelong dream of becoming a licensed sport pilot. His greatest joy was taking his wife on short trips, getting a “$100 hamburger”. Bill enjoyed traveling with his wife all over the world.
