William Jack “Billy” Webb
William Jack “Billy” Webb, of Greensboro, GA, died on Monday, September 25, 2017, at his residence with his loved ones. He was 67. Born in Greensboro on September 11, 1950, he was the son of the late Jack Dempsey Webb and Leona Wood Webb. He was a graduate of Greensboro High School in the class of 1968. On November 27, 1969 he married the former Janet Weatherford. From 1970 through 1971 he served his country in the United States Army serving as military police at the Joint Security Area in Panmunjom, Korea. Billy was the owner and operator of the Country Cabinet Shop where he was an excellent cabinet maker. His hobbies included gunsmith, antique dealer, coin and stamp collecting. He was a Life Member of the NRA.
In addition to his wife, Janet Webb of Greensboro, GA, he is survived by a daughter, Selena Duvall of Greensboro, GA and a son, William Jack “Bill’ Webb, Jr. (Mary Ann) of Greensboro, GA; two sisters, Susan Walker (Freddie) of Greensboro, GA and Kareen Davis of Greensboro, GA; five grandchildren, Breanna Coffman, John Edward Coffman, Jr., Ellie Webb, J.D. Webb and Abbie Webb; a number of other relatives and many friends.
