Sullivan, William J. of Saginaw, Michigan, our loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away at his home on Wednesday, May 2, 2018, surrounded by his family. He was 89 years old. William Joseph Sullivan was born on October 10, 1928 in Saginaw, Michigan, the son of the late William F. and Helen (Kostrzewa) Sullivan. He attended school at St. Mary Cathedral, all twelve years, and graduated in 1947. He then worked as a teen at the family restaurant until joining the Army in 1948, serving three years with the Army Engineers. Bill met and married Phyllis Maksimowicz in 1953 and they began their 64 years together; she survives him.
