Mr. William Joe Pruitt went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sat. Nov. 10, 2012 at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center. He passed away from lung cancer (2yrs 8 mos) and pneumonia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe Richard and Annie Pruitt of Oxford, NC and three brothers and a sister.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary Pruitt; daughter, Joanne (Bryan) Jolley; son, Reverend Bill (Sonya) Pruitt; grandchildren, Bryan, Megan and Austin, Jolley and Tori, D.J., Zac, Kate, and Drew Pruitt; and several nieces and nephews.
Joe attended Okaloosa Walton College earning an Associate’s Degree in A/C and Auto Mechanics after serving 22 years in the USAF as a pilot and retired as a Lieutenant Colonel.
His family will always cherish the memories of their father and husband.
