MARKS, William J., Portage. Passed away March 14, 2011. Bill was born July 14, 1946 in Kalamazoo, a son of Cornelius and Edna Marks. He was a lifelong resident of Portage and was a self employed builder. He served in the Unites States Army during the Viet Nam War.
He loved fishing and racing. Bill was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Thomas Marks and Max Mills. He is survived by his sister, Judy John Bosma of Portage; two brothers, Jack Diane Marks of Vicksburg and Wayne of Portage; two sisters-in-law, Wilma Mills of Vicksburg and Esther Marks of Caledonia; many nieces and nephews; and his faithful dog, Emma.
