William Herman West, a beloved man, passed away peacefully at home on March 22, 2015. William, also known as Bill, was born August 31th, 1923 to Michael and Ethel (Beserock) West in Butler Pennsylvania and lived in Eagle Idaho for the last 50+ years. He had two Brothers, Michael and identical twin Brother, Willis and one Sister, Elizabeth West. Married for 67 years, Bill met and wed his “Sweetie” Eva in Boise Idaho. Bill and Eva built their family home in Eagle Idaho where they raised their nine children; William, Daniel, Lawrence, Lisa, Michael, Ann, Elena, Rebecca and Anthony; including many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. He now joins his beloved Eva, sons William, Daniel and Anthony, Brothers Willis and Michael and Sister Elizabeth in Heaven.
Bill was a gentle and kind Loving soul, Son, Brother, Husband, Dad, Grandfather and Friend. He was a man of many occupations and talents: a retired Letter Carrier, Watchmaker, Musician, Engraver, Acrobat (performed with his Brothers), World War II Army Veteran and served in the U.S. Air force reserves at Gowen Field in Boise for over 30 years. Most importantly he Loved his family deeply and was well known for his faith. He touched our lives in heartfelt ways. For more than 30 years, he sang and played guitar at St.
William is survived by his Sons and Daughters Lawrence (Cheryl Davis) West, Lisa (Ron) Nelson, Michael (Tina) West, Ann West, Elena West and Rebecca (Kent) Quinney, Brother and Sister-in-law Bud and Sally Miley and many other extended family members.
