Our Dearest William Herbert Bush, “Bill”, 81, was welcomed into the glory of our Lord
Jesus Christ on Christmas was a beloved Father, Grandfather, Husband, Son,
Best Friend and Military Veteran. Bill served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force,
twice during the Vietnam War. Bill was an extremely talented musician playing a few
different instruments in his lifetime and is mostly remembered for playing the piano by
ear. Bill played the piano in Church for years during his younger life and also later on at
his Assisted Living Facility eagerly taking requests for favorite hymnals or songs to
entertain friends. Bill was invited to play the French Horn with the U.S. Army Band when
he was just 17. Bill enjoyed attending concerts at the Nashville Schermerhorn Symphony
Hall in his later years seeing some of his favorite performers and will never forget his kindness, love, strength, advice, amazing blue eyes and beautiful music.
Bill was laid to rest at the beautiful Middle Tennessee State Veterans’ Cemetery in
Nashville, TN on January 19th, 2021. We smile now knowing he is playing music in
heaven for the Lord and one glorious day we will be reunited to hear him play once shall wipe away all tears from their eyes and there shall be no more
death; neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for
the former things are passed away- Revelation 21:4
