Lt. Col (Ret) William Henry Beddow, Jr., 86, of Luthersville, GA passed away Monday, April 4, 2016, in Newnan, GA. He was born February 14, 1930, in Birmingham, AL to the late Dr. William Henry Beddow and Margaret Tillman Beddow.
He was preceded in death by his son, William Henry Beddow III, sister, Anne Moor, and brother, Dr. Charles Beddow. Lt. Col Beddow retired from the U.S. Air Force Air National Guard where he served as a pilot and pilot trainer. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Rhea Johns Beddow; sister, Elizabeth DeBardeleben; daughter, Margaret (Wendel) Hunt; former daughter in law, Donna Kilgore; grandchildren, Stephanie (Charles) Burnham, Charles, Nicklas, and Savanah Hunt; great-grandson, Grayson Burnham; Mrs. Beddow’s children, Lucinda (Mathew) Lowe, Amanda, Benjamin, and Melissa Ramey, and Vanessa Nobley.
