Mr. William Harrison Hazell “Bill”, 90 transitioned at The Oaks on October 3, 2017.
He was the son of Charlie A. Hazell and Mary Lillian Lea Hazell, both deceased and was the beloved husband of Cynthia Ardelia Evans Hazell “Dink”. He was the manager of the Super X Drugstore and Belk’s Department Store. He was a deacon at Arche’s Grove United Church of Christ and a World War II veteran.
He is survived by: is survived by two daughters, Lillian Faucette (Minister Arrey) and Barbara Holmes (Wendell); six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three children, William Ronald Hazel, Tony Bernard Hazel and Brenda Hazell Torain.
