William Harold Goodwin, 77, of Plainfield, died Thursday, September 15, 2016, in Plainfield. He was born August 16, 1939 in Franklin, to his parents Elmer and Gladys (Mullikin) Goodwin.
He was self-employed as a general contractor. William loved fishing, working with his hands, and building things. He enjoyed helping others, watching western movies, and listening to music. William was also an animal lover.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Sue (Herald) Goodwin of Plainfield, three sons; Robert Goodwin of Plainfield, David Goodwin of Indianapolis, and Mark (Pamela) Goodwin of Franklin, two daughters; Renita (William) Fox of Naples, Florida, and Lora (Glenn) Snow of Franklin, three sisters, and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Elmer and Gladys Goodwin, two brothers; Charles and Leland Goodwin, and one sister.
