William Herbert White, of Plymouth formerly of Holbrook. William was born to Alice and Harland White on December 18, 1938. Survived by his wife of 50 years, Kathleen and six children, Cheryl White of Plymouth, Allison Santos and her husband Roger of Carver, Linda Fielding and her husband Scott of Chantilly VA, Jonathan of Plymouth, William, Jr. and his wife Adrienne of Holbrook, and Jennifer Roach and her husband Edward of Kingston. Loving Grandfather of nine grandchildren. Predeceased by siblings, Robert White of Charlestown, RI, Harland Jr. of Whitman, Elizabeth Murphy of Venice FL, John of Holbrook, Donald of Holbrook, George of Dennis. Survived by siblings of Marilyn Barry of Lakeville; and Pauline Boczanowski of Norwell. Bill was a Holbrook police officer beginning his career in 1967 as a patrolman. Bill transferred to the Plymouth Police in 1980 and continued until his retirement in 2000. Bill was the proud proprietor of Kingston Liquors and Manomet Liquors. Bill’s greatest treasure in life was his family and enjoyed talking to all his children and grandchildren. Bill was always available to his children for any reason and will be surely missed by them.
