William H. Upperman, 76, of Anderson, passed away on May 27, 2013 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital. He was born on June 6, 1936 in Columbus, Ohio and resided most of his life in Anderson.
Bill graduated from Hilliard High School and Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing. He also was in the U.S. Marine Reserves. He had a career with Delco-Remy Division of General Motors.
Bill was a member of The Madison County Historical Society and also volunteered at The Park Place Church of God Food Pantry. He enjoyed Genealogy, and attending his children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Moore Upperman, Anderson; Children, Jude Upperman, Columbus, Ohio, Sharon Upperman, Anderson, Sandi Rick Coppess, Anderson, Gregg Karen Upperman, Anderson and Terry Hatem Mahmoud, Indianapolis; grandchildren, JohnWilliam Kuczwara, Coumbus, Ohio, Aimee Scott Zabinsky, Westfield, Steven Coppess, Anderson, Kristina Fox Fiance’ John Latham Seattle, Washington, Jim Fox, Austin, Texas, Cody Upperman, Anderson, Kelsey Upperman, Anderson, Jordan Wrin, Indianapolis, Casey Upperman, Anderson, Cully Upperman, Anderson, Daniel Jones, Anderson, John Jones, Anderson, Luke Jones, Anderson, Sarah Mahmoud, Indianapolis, Sam Jones, Anderson, and Matt Jones, Anderson; great-grandchildren, Christopher Priddy, Anderson, Shaun Priddy, Anderson, Samantha Coppess, Anderson, Chloe Roe Zabinsky, Westfield, and one great-granddaughter on the way; brothers, L. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Wilda James Upperman, granddaughter, Christina Priddy, and nephew Larry Upperman.
