WILLIAM P. GRAY, JR.
IDAHO FALLS, ID — William Porter Gray, Jr., 83, of Idaho Falls, died August 25, 2005, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
He was born December 3, 1921, at Idaho Falls to William Porter Gray, Sr. and Eva Catherine Hayball Gray. He grew up in the area and attended Idaho Falls High School. Following graduation, he spent one year at University of Idaho. He served as a Private First Class in the U. S. Marine Corp during World War II.
On August 16, 1944, he married Alberta Betsy Mawson in Idaho Falls. He worked for three years with the Police Department. From 1953 until 1984, he owned his own business, Gray Landscaping Inc., and helped beautify roads, trails, highways and campgrounds.
