William Fredrick Hills Jr. was born in Los Angeles, California to William Fredrick Sr. and Ruby Fay. He passed away on Friday, October 14th at McKay Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah.
His family was there by his side as he passed. He is survived by his three sons: Brian (Heidi), Trevor (Raegan), and Austin; his significant other, Mary Ann as well as his grandchildren, Brenley and Kade. He is preceded in death by both parents and sister, Crystal Mesloh.
He started his business, Able Exteriors in the 70’s. His motto was- Some are willing, some are ready, but we are Able. Even though he was old enough to retire, he continued to work alongside his two oldest sons to make others happy by beautifying their homes.
He enjoyed traveling the world; including Hawaii, Italy, Spain, and Mexico where he fought a bull, snorkeled for hours, and shopped for the perfect souvenirs to place in his home. He liked to cook different dishes, experimenting till he achieved perfection. He was known for his spaghetti sauce, chicken marsala, and salsa. He liked to make people laugh with his corny jokes, wanted to be the center of attention, and you couldn’t shut him up! He enjoyed debating any issue and would often take the other side for the sake of good conversation.
He appreciated all kinds of music, had an extensive collection, and relished seeing live concerts. He enjoyed playing many sports in his youth and watching all sports, especially the Lakers and Raiders. He loved his family deeply and had many friends including his best friend Guido. He will be deeply missed.
