William “Billy” Fowler, of Liberty, NY, passed away on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at Garnet Health Medical Center, Harris, NY. He was 64.
He was the son of the late Thomas Fowler and Bernice Barkley, born on February 15, 1958 in New York, NY.
Even though Billy was a quiet spirit, he enjoyed martial arts, poetry and music and being surrounded by family. He also had a few crushes in his time as well. He got his education from Julia Richmond High School in Manhattan, NY and from there traveled between work as a food handler, he traveled to and from his grandparents home for weekends and summer visits in Woodridge NY. Once Billy got the taste of fresh air he didn’t want to go back to city life so here he stayed.
He is survived by his sister Antoinette Barkley and his brother David Barkley. Even though Billy never had children, he has a host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews that loved him dearly.
Things will never be the same without you Billy. The memories of you we will hold on to dearly. We love YOU.
