William “Bill” Shaw, Jr, a resident of Aurora, Co for 18 years, passed away Friday, February 9, 2018 at the age of 85. Bill was born in Jersey City, NJ to William and Mildred (Fredericks) Shaw, and twin brother to Jack (Ve). He enlisted in the Air Force at age 17 and was stationed at Lowry Air Force Base. In 1953, he married the Love of His Life, Shirley (Barone). Marrying into a large Italian family, his name was quickly changed to “Tony.” They were married for 55 years at her death. They had three children, Debi (Russ), Sharon (Steve), and Bill. Bill had 6 grandchildren, Jenni, nicole (Justin), Derek, Chauntele (Chet), Tiffany and Ashley (Preston); 16 great-grandchildren, Kristen, Vanessa, Britney, Brice, Jr., Cheyenne, Kora, Chanele, Michael, Amelia, Chayden, Isaac, Paislee, Chylie, Colton, Gabriel and Chalyn; 6 great-great-grandchildren, Tanner, Brayden, Grayson, Ryder, Brilee and Luke. Our Dad was a devoted family man. who worked two jobs all his life to support his family until his retirement in 2000.
