William F. “Billy” Leap, 86, Anderson, passed away February 15, 2012 at Countryside Manor Health and Living Community, Anderson after an extended illness. He was born August 25, 1925 in Vevay, Indiana, and resided in Anderson since 1948. He worked as a core maker for 28 years at a local foundry in Anderson. Billy enjoyed his entire family, fishing, and fellowship with Ebenezer Apostolic Church family where he was a member for many years.
He is survived by his two step-sons, Robert “Ike” Wagner & wife Linda of Corona, California and Ken Wagner & wife Libby of Anderson; step-daughter, Judy Mahfouz & husband Joe of Opelousas, Louisiana; two sisters, Betty Hargrove & husband Bud of Vevay, Indiana, Peggy Stoll & husband Darrel of Washington, Indiana; sister-in-law, Margaret Gray of Anderson; several grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Hattie House Leap; mother and father; five brothers; three step-sons; one step-daughter; and a number of grandchildren.
