William Everett “Bill” Shatzer, 55, of Westminster, died Wednesday, December 23, 2015, at home. Born February 3, 1960 in Hanover, PA, he was the son of the late George McClellan Shatzer.
He is survived by his wife Sandra L. Shatzer, his mother, Margaret Wentz Frisby and stepfather John Frisby of Westminster.
He graduated from FSK in 1978 and was a plumber for many years. He currently was a shipping clerk at Random House. He was a member of the American Legion Carroll Post No. 31, VFW Molleville Post No. 467 and enjoyed watching NASCAR and was a Washington Redskins fan.
In addition to his wife, mother and stepfather, he is survived by 3 children Raymond Smith and girlfriend Elizabeth and Elizabeth Meeks and Laura Shatzer, siblings Bonita L. Pittinger, Matthew E. Shatzer, Linda L. Shanholtz, Joyce E. Black, Mark D. and Micky Boone, Tristynn and Jaden Frisby, grandchildren Annabelle and Dustin.
He was predeceased by a brother George M. Shatzer, Jr. and sister Susan E. Pittinger.
