William Eugene Yeager, age 87, passed away Friday, November 13, 2015 at his home in Newnan surrounded by family. He was born June 1, 1928 in Grantville, GA to the late Marvin L. Yeager and Annie Lou Boswell Yeager. Eugene served in the U.S. Army and the United States Air Force. After leaving the military he grew a green thumb and enjoyed spending most of his time in his garden and anything having to do with being outdoors. Eugene was a very humble man and made sure to always put his family first. He was very strong in his faith and was a faithful member for many years at East Newnan Baptist Church. Along with his parents Eugene is preceded in death by his wife Edna Crider Yeager and brothers James Yeager, Irvin Yeager, Grover Yeager and Leon Yeager. He is survived by his children Ricky Yeager and his wife Lynn, Debra Caldwell Yeager, grandchildren; Chaz Caldwell and his wife Tina, Micah Caldwell, Kecia Yeager Braun, great grandchildren; Taylor Caldwell, Janna Caldwell, Jordan Caldwell, Dillian Caldwell, Savanna Dingler, Tyler Braun, Abigail Braun, great-great grandchildren; Trey Floyd, Jayden Floyd, Beau Floyd and Bentlee Bass. He is also survived by siblings, Ray Yeager, Sr., Joyce Beckom, Tommy Yeager and his wife Sylvia, Tony Yeager, sister in laws, Doris Yeager, Siegred Yeager and several nieces and nephews.
