William Ernie Whitehead, 71, of Liberty, died Friday, September 16, 2022 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro.
William was a native and lifelong resident of Randolph County and was a self-employed painter. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Ernest and Teresa Garner Whitehead, sister, Cornea W. Brown, and brother, Ronnie Ritter.
Survivors: daughter, Kelly Dawn Whitehead, of Siler City, sons, Herman Charles Whitehead, Anthony William Whitehead, both of Staley, granddaughter, Gabriella Whitehead, of Staley, sisters, Cathy Overman, of Ramseur, Donna Pate, of Staley, Elsie Whitehead, of Wilmington, Martha Foust, of Ramseur.
