William “Bill” English Carmichael, 63, of Salisbury, passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2014.
Bill was born in Salisbury on June 12, 1951, the son of Robert and Edna Carmichael.
He graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a degree in science and math. He continued on to graduate school there and earned his MBA. He was a lifelong Tarheel fan.
Bill was preceded in death by his father, Robert English Carmichael.
He is survived by his mother, Edna Weaver Carmichael of Winston Salem; brother, James Carmichael and wife Marie of Thomasville; sister, Carol Carmichael of Winston Salem; nephew, Walter Carmichael and wife Laura of Winston Salem; niece, Melissa York and husband Greg of Thomasville; and great-nephews and great-nieces, Russell Carmichael and Madyson, Eli, and Faith York.
